  2. I am deeply saddened. Robert is a modern day axial sage who I have followed for over a decade. He is my main nutritional sensei and I have so much gratitude for the knowledge he has given me. His delivery and his way was one of a kind. Robert, you created a monster in me and I vow to keep your message alive. The food guide pyramid better start running now because I am not happy about this.

I intuitively had a sense that Robert had left and chose to only look at this blog today. I have the chills, but know that Robert is now resting in the arms of God.

I am a Licensed Acupuncturist. Robert was my nutrition guru and a most generous soul. Although I did not know him personally, I am blessed to have learned from such a great master.

I am deeply saddened. His time was too short here. It just reminds me of how precious life is.

  4. I was very saddened to hear of Robert's passing. We took several writing courses together in NYC and were in a writing group, as well. I loved reading any of his stories and enjoyed his expertise and enthusiasm for writing. He always brought a smile to my face with his wit. To all of Robert's close friends and family, bless you all in this time and know he will be missed by many.

  6. I too, am deeply saddened to hear this news. I didn't hear until I saw the Caring Bridge entry today. Robert was my first real teacher in the nutrition biz back in 2000. His wit, enthusiasm and motivation will never be forgotten. Thank you for taking me in and being such an inspiration! You will be missed.

  7. Hello, I just happened to have found Robert's page online while searching different things. He seems like a great guy, who was in charge of his health (always looking and finding different alternative cancer treatments). I was very saddened to read of his passing. I recently heard about ITP chemo for cancer treatment. I have a friend who was just diagnosed with anal cancer and is interested in pursuing ITP therapy. From what you know of Robert's experience, would you recommend the therapy? I apologize for asking you this question after the tough times you must have gone through, but I very much thank you for your answer.
